7.2 magnitude earthquake occurred at 13:41 on October 23, 2011 in Van, Turkey. Search and rescue teams;  began searching for people under the debris. And all turkey help put out his hand. tent and food aid was delivered. When we look at as a result; 279 people have died. 1,301 people were injured. 2 thousand 262 buildings were destroyed in the Van. There are teachers among the dead. We launched charity campain to save money for Van in our school.

The first meeting for the Comenius Multilateral School Partnership Project was held at the Coordinator School, Sivas Fen Lisesi, Turkey between 14th-19th November 2011. The project coordinators and the school principals participated the meeting. Our coordinator Olcay ATBIN welcomed us very friendly.
